Sekou Mara has transferred to Racing Strasbourg from Southampton on a permanent deal. The French forward, born in 2002, has signed a contract with Racing Strasbourg until 2029. Mara spent three years in the youth ranks of Paris Saint-Germain before moving to AC Boulogne-Billancourt and later to INF Clairefontaine. He joined Girondins de Bordeaux, signing his first professional contract in the summer of 2020. After two seasons with Bordeaux's first team, he moved to Southampton. Mara has also represented France at youth international levels, notably being the top scorer of the Maurice-Revello tournament in 2022.
