By mid-December, Fofana had shown interest in the potential move. Rennais needs to negotiate with Al-Nassr, who acquired him for 23 million euros, with a 20 million euro fee being cited for the potential deal. Although Rennes faces competition, they are in a strong position to finalize the transfer.
