Santiago Ramos Mingo leaving Defensa y Justicia?

Argentine defender Santiago Ramos Mingo, developed at Boca Juniors and formerly with Defensa y Justicia, has signed with Brazilian club Bahía until 2029. Bahía, set to compete in the 2025 Copa Libertadores, confirmed the transfer, reportedly worth $4.5 million. The 23-year-old was being monitored by the City Group before agreeing to a five-year contract. Ramos Mingo expressed his excitement to join Bahía, completing medicals in Salvador before joining the team's preseason in Girona, Spain.

Defensa y Justicia has advanced negotiations to sell a high percentage of the transfer rights of Santiago Ramos Mingo. If the final bureaucratic details are resolved, he would be sold for eight million dollars and initially join Bahía in Brazil. The deal is expected to be finalized in the coming days with a contract for five seasons.
