Sankara Karamoko Transfer from Wolfsberger AC to Partizan
Partizan is reportedly interested in signing Sankara Karamoko from Wolfsberger on a loan deal that would include an option to buy. Due to financial constraints, Partizan is unable to pay a transfer fee upfront. Karamoko, who moved to Austria from his home country last winter, has faced challenges in adapting, partly because of a language barrier as he only speaks French. He was initially moved to the second team this season, where he impressed by scoring six goals in eight matches under the guidance of coach Nemanja Rnić, a former Partizan defender, which led to his promotion back to the first team. Furthermore, Karamoko made his debut for the Ivory Coast national team in 2022, earning five caps and scoring once, and participated in the Africa Cup of Nations. He also emerged as the top scorer in the African Champions League in the 2023/24 season with four goals. The 21-year-old is versatile, able to play as a central forward and on the wings.
