Samuel Adeniran, a 1.93-meter tall striker, had been associated with LASK during the summer but decided to remain in the USA, transferring within the MLS to Philadelphia Union. Despite signing with Philadelphia Union only until the end of the year, the link with LASK remained. A report by 'Kurier' indicated that Adeniran is expected to join LASK on a free transfer in January after his contract concludes. It was reported that the transfer was finalized prior to the departure of former sporting director Radovan Vujanovic and former coach Thomas Darazs in September.
