Benfica Lissabon is interested in signing Samuel Dahl from AS Roma. Reports by Fabrizio Romano and 'Relevo' indicate that the parties are close to reaching a verbal agreement. Dahl is currently under contract with Roma until 2029, but has only made two brief appearances in Serie A.

Roma is contemplating the possibility of sending Samuel Dahl out on loan during the winter transfer window. Several clubs, whose names have not been disclosed, are reported to have shown interest in the Swedish national who occupies the left-back position. Dahl made his move to Roma in the summer, with a transfer fee set at 4.3 million euros, along with an agreement for ten percent of the next sale. Since joining the team, he has only been on the field for 41 minutes in Roma's first team, which is currently experiencing turmoil, having been under the management of three different coaches this season: Daniele De Rossi, Ivan Jurić, and more recently, Claudio Ranieri.
