Additionally, Beukema's skills have attracted Liverpool, with their manager, Arne Slot, having previously indicated his wish to sign him. Although Beukema has a fondness for West Ham United, he remains open to joining any Premier League team, which fits well with Chelsea's strategy to enhance their defensive squad amidst uncertainties about some of their current players.
