Salvatore Caturano has renewed his contract with Potenza until 2027. Despite strong interest from Trapani, Potenza considers Caturano an essential part of their project and has even offered him a significant role in the club after his playing career ends. The announcement was made by Potenza's president, Donato Macchia, during a press conference.

Trapani has identified Salvatore Caturano as the first choice replacement for Facundo Lescano, with a basic agreement already in place. A two-year contract is prepared for Caturano, who has scored 12 goals for Potenza. This move comes amidst significant interest in Lescano from Spezia, who are pressing hard for the Trapani forward. Trapani's president, Valerio Antonini, indicated that only a substantial offer would make them consider Lescano's departure, emphasizing the importance of securing a capable replacement like Caturano, who is expected to deliver 10 to 12 goals in the season.
