Ajax has reached out to him, but it is uncertain if Kumbedi is interested in moving to the Eredivisie. Despite his young age, Kumbedi is already relatively experienced, having played 47 matches for Lyon's first team and scored five goals. He is also a youth international for France and is valued at approximately four million euros according to Transfermarkt.
