Sadik Fofana, formerly a player at Bayer 04 Leverkusen, has joined Grazer AK in the Austrian Bundesliga. Although he was part of Leverkusen, he did not participate in any official matches for their professional team and was instead training with the U-19 squad. While his contract with Leverkusen was initially set to run until summer 2025, the club ended up not receiving a transfer fee for him. However, it is believed that Leverkusen has likely secured a resale participation for Fofana. Before this move, Fofana played 19 matches in the second division for 1. FC Nürnberg during the 2022/23 season and appeared in 11 official matches for Fortuna Sittard in the 2023/24 season. His transfer to Graz marks his second international club experience following his time in the Netherlands.
