Saba Goglichidze Transfer from Empoli to Roma
The transfer of Saba Goglichidze from Empoli to Roma was reportedly imminent, with a journalist stating that the Georgian defender would arrive the next day. However, Roma's coach Claudio Ranieri strongly denied this, indicating issues with bonuses and conditions that were supposed to lead to a mandatory purchase. The deal was supposed to be a paid loan of 1 million EUR with an obligation to buy for another 9 million EUR.
The transfer is at its final stages between Roma and Empoli for the defender Saba Goglichidze, who has been one of the surprises of this Serie A season. The agreement is for a loan with an obligation to buy for around 1 million euros, with a conditional purchase obligation at 9 million euros. Juventus and Milan had also shown interest in the young Georgian player.
