Galatasaray has submitted an official offer to Empoli for Saba Goglichidze's transfer. Despite the closure of the Italian transfer window, Galatasaray has maintained its interest, although Empoli is reluctant due to their inability to find a replacement. The Turkish club has made this move following Victor Nelsson's departure, with the aim of strengthening their defense. Gianluca Di Marzio reported that multiple clubs are interested in the 20-year-old talent, but Galatasaray is particularly keen on acquiring him. Empoli, however, is hesitant to finalize the transfer as they are only able to sign free agents to replace Goglichidze if he leaves. Nonetheless, Galatasaray is contemplating further attempts to persuade the Italian club.
