Ryo Hatsuse Transfer from Vissel Kobe to Sheffield Wednesday
Ryo Hatsuse, who had been previously linked with a move to Górnik Zabrze, is reportedly on the verge of signing with Sheffield Wednesday, according to 'The Star'. He has been training with the team for the past month. Although the transfer window is closed in England, the move remains possible because Hatsuse became a free agent at the beginning of February. The 27-year-old left-back, who appeared in 195 games for Vissel Kobe, scoring four goals and providing 29 assists, managed to impress Sheffield Wednesday during his training period. Initially speculated to join Górnik Zabrze due to his Japanese connections and the club's history with Japanese players, which included recent negotiations with Vissel Kobe facilitated by Lukas Podolski, Hatsuse's path took a different direction when he chose to travel to England instead of Poland. Sheffield Wednesday, who are currently tenth in the Championship, are looking to benefit from his experience.
