Utrecht decided to redeem Ryan Flamingo from Sassuolo after more than 30 matches in Eredivisie. Flamingo had only played in the youth team (Primavera) for Sassuolo.

Utrecht has redeemed Dutch midfielder Ryan Flamingo from Sassuolo. The Eredivisie club announced that they have definitively purchased the 2002-born player who has signed a contract valid until June 30, 2027. FC Utrecht exercised the purchase option present in Ryan Flamingo's loan contract. This means that the 21-year-old defender will definitively transfer from US Sassuolo to Utrecht FC, where the youth national is now under contract until mid-2027.
