Rony Transfer from Palmeiras to Al Rayyan

The transfer of Rony from Palmeiras to Al Rayyan in Qatar was called off due to a lack of time to address bureaucratic issues before the closure of the transfer window. The offer from Al Rayyan had been accepted, and Palmeiras had sent the necessary transfer documentation, but the transaction could not be finalized in time. The deal was valued at 6 million euros, with Palmeiras and Athletico-PR each set to receive 50% of the fee. It was understood that Rony intended to move abroad to maintain his salary level, as he is one of the highest-paid players at Palmeiras.

Palmeiras is in the process of negotiating the sale of forward Rony to Al Rayyan, a Qatari club coached by the Portuguese manager Artur Jorge. The negotiations have progressed significantly, and the transfer fee is expected to be around 6 million euros. It is noted that Palmeiras holds 50% of Rony's rights, while Athletico-PR holds the remaining 50%. Although the discussions are advancing positively, a final agreement is yet to be finalized. The involved parties are making efforts to quickly iron out the remaining details to ensure the transfer is completed before the Qatari transfer window closes. Rony reportedly expressed his desire to move abroad to maintain his high salary, which significantly influenced his decision to opt for the Middle East over other Brazilian clubs, such as Fluminense and Santos.
