Ronaldo, a midfielder who started his career at Flamengo, spent much of the 2024 season without a club before signing with Juventude in August. He played 14 matches for Juventude, during which he scored two goals and provided two assists. Ronaldo is anticipated to join Internacional as a replacement for Thiago Maia for the 2025 season. Internacional has already transferred Thiago Maia to Santos for 7 million euros (R$ 44.8 million). Ronaldo is expected to be the first new signing for Internacional for the upcoming season. He is currently in Porto Alegre, where he is set to undergo medical examinations before being officially announced by the club.
