Roko Šimić Transfer from Cardiff City to Kortrijk
Roko Šimić transferred to Cardiff City for a fee of two million euros and subsequently signed a one-year loan deal with Kortrijk, a Belgian first division club. Although he faced challenges at the beginning and suffered an injury that sidelined him for five matches, potentially keeping him out until the new year, there is optimism that his situation will improve with the arrival of a new coach at Kortrijk. The former coach, Freyr Alexandersson, reportedly acknowledged that he had mismanaged Šimić and had considered the possibility of sending him back to Wales during the January transfer window. However, it is anticipated that the new coach, Yves Vanderhaeghe, will have a different approach towards the Croatian forward.
Roko Šimić was immediately loaned to Belgian club Kortrijk after transferring to Cardiff City. Unfortunately, the loan is not going as planned, as he has made only three appearances, two from the bench. His last appearance was on September 29, and he has lost his status as a young national team player.
