Roberto Massimo has signed with SpVgg Greuther Fürth. The offensive midfielder joins the second division team on a free transfer because his contract with VfB Stuttgart expires on June 30. Massimo has 42 Bundesliga appearances (two goals) and 22 appearances in the 2. Bundesliga, and he has played four matches for the German U-21 national team. After a loan to Academico Viseu in Portugal, he only made six short appearances for Stuttgart last season.

Roberto Massimo, who had only five Bundesliga appearances and one in the Cup as a supplemental player for VfB Stuttgart in the past season, is said to be of interest to second division club SpVgg Greuther Fürth.
