Robert Toma, a defender born in 2004 with Romanian roots and holding an Italian passport, is currently part of the Ascoli team. Although he has not been frequently utilized, his involvement in several training camps with the Romanian Under-20 squad has piqued the interest of international clubs, including Romania's UTA Arad. Toma has experience playing in the youth teams of Lucchese, Prato, and Pordenone, and is currently coached by Di Carlo at Ascoli, having previously worked with him at Pordenone.
