Rene Renner, previously contracted with LASK until June 2026, has had his contract terminated by mutual consent. During the current season, he participated in only four games, with his last appearance on October 3rd in the UEFA Conference League against Djurgardens IF. Having joined LASK from SV Mattersburg in 2019, Rene played in 181 official matches, scoring seven goals and providing eleven assists. The decision to release him was influenced by the arrival of Markus Schopp, under whose management Rene was largely excluded from the squad.
