Raúl Parra leaving Estoril?
Raúl Parra is not in the plans of the coach and is authorized to find a new club.
Raul Parra, who joined Estoril last summer, failed to make the desired impact and couldn't establish himself in the starting eleven. He was initially signed from Cádiz as a right-back, but struggled to assert himself in that position and was repurposed as a center-back. However, he only regularly featured in the months of November and December. In January, with the reinforcement of the defensive sector and the arrival of João Basso, Parra lost his place and was only used six more times until the end of the season. His exit is now seen as a natural scenario. Estoril is looking to strengthen the central defense - and the right wing, where the 24-year-old player could also act - and Parra will not continue in the squad. The player still has two years of contract left, so Estoril will have to find a solution for him. They are already working to find a solution for him to leave on loan, with an option to buy or, preferably, a definitive agreement that allows Estoril to give up the economic rights it holds over the player – Cádiz holds a portion. If, over the days or even weeks, the club does not find alternatives that meet its expectations to release the athlete, there is also the possibility of giving his representatives a free hand to find a new club. A return to Spain, specifically to a second-tier team, emerges as a valid alternative due to the player's status in that context.
