Raul Asencio has completed a transfer to Novara from Casertana on a permanent basis, signing a contract that will keep him with the club until June 30, 2026. Known as a central striker, Asencio brings considerable national experience from Serie B and C, along with a brief tenure in Spain's Segunda División. Having developed in Genoa's youth sector, he remained with the club until three years ago and even received call-ups to their Serie A first team. Throughout his career in the lower leagues, he has scored 19 goals in 109 appearances and was part of the Lecce squad that won a championship in the 2021/22 season. Last season, he participated in Serie C, and he is set to don the number 9 jersey at Novara.
