Following the U-19 European Championship, he traveled from Ireland to London to undergo a trial with Brentford. During his two-week trial, he had a positive experience, as the coach reportedly expressed satisfaction and indicated a desire for him to remain. However, a registration issue emerged because the season had already commenced in England. As a foreign player with insufficient national team appearances, Gadzhiev fell into a special category. Brentford, unfortunately, did not have additional slots available for him, which prevented his registration.
