Rafa Mir Transfer from Sevilla to Tijuana

Rafa Mir has reportedly reached an agreement with Tijuana to transfer to Liga MX. Nevertheless, he is required to address his passport issue due to an ongoing legal case, which currently restricts his ability to travel freely. Although his contract with Sevilla extends until 2027, he is expected to return to the club in the summer, but he does not feature in coach García Pimienta's plans. The legal issue, which involves a sexual assault allegation against Mir and a friend, has resulted in his passport being retained by the authorities. This situation has reportedly strained his relationship with Sevilla's management, particularly with Víctor Orta and José María del Nido Carrasco. Despite previous tensions and his initial preference for a move to Valencia, an agreement with Tijuana has been finalized, contingent upon the resolution of his legal challenges.
