Radamel Falcao García is set to depart from Millonarios because of the financial implications related to income and wealth taxes he would face in Colombia. Although the club made extensive efforts over several weeks to formulate a substantial economic proposal, supported by sponsorships, they were unable to overcome the fiscal challenges, which ultimately hindered Falcao's continuation with the team. Falcao, who joined Millonarios six months ago, had initially signed a six-month contract. He conveyed his gratitude for the chance to return to Colombia and play for Millonarios, noting that it was a dream come true. Nevertheless, due to circumstances beyond his and the club's control, he is compelled to say goodbye.
