Petru Neagu has been loaned to Unirea Slobozia, following Dinamo București's acquisition of Stipe Perica. Neagu, a former Moldovan youth international, has participated in 7 matches this season in Liga 1 and the Romanian Cup without finding the net. The loan aims to give him more opportunities to play. Neagu, who joined Dinamo without a transfer fee, was born in Cimișlia, Găgăuzia, and honed his skills in the youth academies of Atletico Torino and Zimbru Chișinău. Before signing with Dinamo București as a free agent in January 2024, he played for Zimbru Chișinău and FC Bălți. Currently, Dinamo is ranked third in Liga 1, whereas Unirea Slobozia holds the 13th position.
