Pepê Transfer from Porto to FC Barcelona

Pepê, who is currently playing for FC Porto, is on the list of potential targets for Barcelona.

Barcelona has signaled Pepê as a signing for 2024/25, seeing in the Brazilian international the right characteristics to immediately enter the dynamics of Xavi's team. Pepê has a contract until 2027 and a clause of €75 million, but Barcelona does not want to pay so much and hints at Vítor Roque. Pepê will never leave for less than €60 million, but it is natural that at this embryonic stage FC Porto plays hard and tries to stretch that value, including bonuses that approximate the receipt of the termination clause.

Pepê, a Brazilian winger from FC Porto, is being added to Barcelona's reinforcement list for the next season. The Catalan club wants to reinforce the left side of the attack, and the 27-year-old player, with eight goals and 10 assists this season, has the characteristics desired by the blaugrana officials. Mundo Deportivo describes the Porto winger as a 'skilled, fast player with great ball control', and recalls that he cost FC Porto 15 million EUR, now having a market value of €25 M (based on Transfermarkt), much below the other targets of Barcelona, such as Dani Olmo and Nico Williams, who would cost about €60 M. Although the Leipzig player pleases coach Xavi Hernández and sports director Deco for his versatility, as well as the Athletic Bilbao striker, Pepê, who has already wreaked havoc against Barcelona (goal in Montjuic in the Champions group stage), is seen as a more economical alternative.
