Argentinian footballer Paulo Dybala recently turned down an offer from the Saudi club Al-Qadisiyah, which was worth an astonishing 75 million euros for three years. Dybala cited family, wife, city, team, and his ambition to return to the Argentine national team as the key reasons for his decision. Despite facing criticism due to numerous injuries, Dybala reportedly feels good and is making efforts to take care of himself. He also noted that he did not have direct conversations with representatives from Al-Qadisiyah.
Paulo Dybala was set to transfer to Al Qadisiyya in Saudi Arabia, with the deal practically done. However, he turned down the offer at the last moment.
Transfer experts Fabrizio Romano and Gianluca Di Marzio have reported that the transfer of the 30-year-old from AS Roma to Al-Qadisiya has failed. Initially, the departure of the 30-year-old was considered a mere formality. A contract until 2027 was prepared, and Roma was expected to receive up to 17 million euros for the Argentine world champion. However, the transfer fee has now emerged as the sticking point. Dybala remains under contract with Roma until the end of the season.
Paulo Dybala has agreed with Al Quasdia, and Roma is ready to negotiate with the Saudi club. The starting price proposed is lower than the clause, but the operation is economically beneficial for both the player and Roma. Dybala will earn 75 million euros in 3 years, and Roma will save approximately 14 million euros in gross salary, which can be reinvested in the squad.
Agreement nearly reached between AS Roma and Al-Qadisiyah for Paulo Dybala.
