It was suggested that Golubickas had been offered to Śląsk. The 25-year-old offensive midfielder, who regularly plays for the Lithuanian national team and excels in his domestic league, finished the 2024 season with eight goals and 14 assists in 33 matches, significantly contributing to FK Žalgiris's championship win. Despite the initial connection, Śląsk remains focused on other player profiles. Nevertheless, Golubickas has attracted interest from other Polish clubs, such as Radomiak Radom and Widzew Łódź, who might bring him to the Ekstraklasa.
