Mittelfeldspieler Patrick Osterhage (24) is leaving VfL Bochum to join SC Freiburg. He was signed on a free transfer from Borussia Dortmund's second team (3. Liga) in 2021 and started his Bundesliga career in Bochum. He has made 56 appearances in the Bundesliga (2 goals/3 assists). The transfer fee is reportedly around 5 million Euros, but official silence has been maintained over the sum.
