An official announcement from ESTAC Troyes has confirmed the signing of Patrick Beach from Melbourne City FC. The player, a 22-year-old Australian international goalkeeper, has signed a contract with the club lasting until June 2031.

According to L'Est Éclair, Patrick Beach is set to join Troyes from Melbourne City on a five-year contract. The goalkeeper is expected to complete the transfer upon his return from vacation.

It is reported that newly promoted Ligue 1 club Troyes, which was seeking a new starting goalkeeper following the departure of Nicolas Lemaître to Stade Rennais, has found its target and settled on Australian keeper Patrick Beach. The 22-year-old, who became the starter for the 2026 World Cup ahead of Mathew Ryan, currently plays for Melbourne City, another club in the City Football Group network, which he joined in July 2023. During the World Cup, he helped his team reach the round of 16 with two clean sheets and is now expected to arrive in France.
