Pasqual Verkamp (26) is transferring from Carl Zeiss Jena to Lok Leipzig and has signed a contract until 2026. He is looking forward to becoming a part of this traditional club in the new season and is excited to get to know 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig more closely. He is certain that with the new team and the people around the team, they will work well and hard to achieve maximum success. Sport director Toni Wachsmuth stated that it's great that Pascal has chosen Lok. He added that they are getting a very versatile offensive player with him, who has proven his goal danger in different leagues over the last years.

Carl Zeiss Jena did not extend the contract with striker Pasqual Verkamp (24). Lok Leipzig urgently needs reinforcement and an alternative in the attack. There has already been contact with Lok Leipzig, but it is still open whether it fits into the budget. Jochen Seitz, the new head coach at Lok Leipzig, knows Verkamp from his seven years at Viktoria Aschaffenburg.
