Struijk, a key defender for Leeds United, has been an ever-present figure in Leeds' Championship campaign this season. Leeds have Struijk under contract until 2027 and are attempting to persuade him to extend his tenure at Elland Road with a new deal. It appears highly unlikely that they would permit his departure in January, given their pursuit of promotion from the Championship. Nevertheless, should Leeds fail to achieve promotion to the Premier League, Struijk might consider moving to a top-flight club.
