O. Lingr Transfer from Feyenoord to Slavia Praha

Ondrej Lingr will continue his career in the Czech Republic. The 25-year-old attacking midfielder, who was bought by Feyenoord for 4 million after last season's loan, is immediately returning home. Slavia Prague announced that they have signed the Czech international, who has signed a contract until June 30, 2028. A rather peculiar story, as the Dutch club sold the player for just over half the amount they paid only two months ago. Lingr, born in 1998, reunites with Slavia, with whom he played 138 matches and scored 40 goals.

Ondrej Lingr is returning to his old club Slavia Praag after one season with Feyenoord. Last summer, Feyenoord signed Lingr permanently due to a mandatory purchase option after initially loaning him from Slavia Praag. Feyenoord reportedly paid four million euros for Lingr, and now he is moving back to Slavia Praag for a reported fee of two million euros.

This summer, Lingr definitively moved to De Kuip, but there had already been considerations of canceling the purchase option in consultation with Slavia earlier. Now that Lingr will return to Slavia, Feyenoord suffers a loss on the attacking midfielder. The Dutch transfer market is already closed, but Czech clubs can still conduct business until Sunday, September 8, making the transfer still feasible.

Due to Feyenoord's restriction on foreign player loans, only a permanent transfer is feasible. The specific terms of the transfer remain undetermined. Lingr was initially loaned to Feyenoord from Slavia Praag in the summer of 2023, with an obligation for Feyenoord to exercise the purchase option included in the loan agreement. There are considerations to waive the payment terms of this option. The Czech Republic's transfer window remains open until Sunday, September 8.
