Odsonne Edouard Transfer from Crystal Palace to Atlanta United
Odsonne Edouard, currently on loan at Leicester City from Crystal Palace, reportedly turned down a £15m deal to join Atlanta United. Speculation suggests Celtic's manager Rodgers could consider bringing Edouard back to the club as Kyogo's successor, but FIFA rules prevent him from playing for another European club this season.
Atlanta United are reportedly interested in acquiring Leicester City attacker Odsonne Edouard. The striker is presently on loan at Leicester City from Crystal Palace. Reports suggest that Atlanta United have made a £15 million offer for the player. It is believed that Crystal Palace and Leicester City are considering the mutual termination of his loan spell to facilitate the transfer. A move to MLS is seen as an opportunity for Edouard to regain his form and confidence. Since Ruud van Nistelrooy took over as Leicester City's manager, Edouard has not made an appearance, which indicates he is not included in the manager's plans.
Atlanta United see both Odsonne Edouard and Middlesbrough's Emmanuel Latte Lath as alternatives to Kyogo. Edouard is available this month having fallen out of the picture at Leicester. The big Frenchman is also likely to be on Rennes' radar given he's a homegrown option.
