Nuno Tavares Transfer from Arsenal to Atalanta
Atalanta was on the verge of finalizing an agreement for Nuno Tavares; however, the deal fell through because of financial disagreements and loan terms. Arsenal was interested in a dry loan to increase the player's value, as he still had two years remaining on his contract. They were open to loaning him without including a purchase option. Atalanta, on the other hand, desired a buy option, but negotiations came to a standstill when Arsenal set the price at 35 million euros, an amount viewed as too steep by any Italian club.
