Nordin Amrabat, who recently mutually terminated his contract with AEK Athens, is close to joining Wydad Casablanca. He has previously played for clubs including Al Nassr, PSV, and Galatasaray.

Nordin Amrabat is looking to leave AEK. According to Radio Mars, a Moroccan radio station, he is engaged in advanced discussions with Wydad Casablanca, a team that is currently 6th in the Moroccan league. In recent months, Amrabat has been left out of AEK's squad by Matías Almeyda, which has led the 37-year-old Dutch-Moroccan midfielder to seek a new team. Although the Netherlands or Turkey were considered possible destinations, it now seems likely that he will play in Morocco. His contract with AEK is set to expire next summer.
