Norbert Barczak is poised to join Polonia Bytom on a loan deal from Górnik Zabrze until the end of the current season. The 19-year-old right-back has yet to make an appearance this season under the management of coach Jan Urban, although he participated in seven matches for Górnik Zabrze's first team in the previous season. This move is part of Polonia Bytom's strategy to enhance their squad in pursuit of promotion to the I liga. Polonia Bytom, who are currently third in the league following a successful autumn round with 41 points from 19 matches, are aiming for direct promotion, being only four points behind the second-placed Wieczysta Kraków. The club has already strengthened its lineup with several new signings, including Jakub Arak, Jean Franco Sarmiento, Bartosz Tomaszewski, Oskar Krzyżak, and Kamil Hajduk, as they gear up to resume the league on February 28 against Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Biała.
