Aris attempted to acquire the 28-year-old central defender Noah Sonko Sundberg from Ludogorets. However, the Swedish player will instead continue his career at the Turkish club Sivasspor. Bulgarian media reported, and Aris confirmed, that their final offer reached 1.5 million euros for the experienced defender. Despite Sundberg not being in the technical team's plans, Ludogorets rejected the offer. The reason became clear on 8/8, as the 28-year-old defender was transferred to Sivasspor and has already arrived at the Turkish team's headquarters for medical and ergometric examinations.
