Noa Mikić leaving Dinamo Zagreb U19?

Noa Mikić has yet to finalize a new contract with Dinamo Zagreb. The club has set a deadline for him until Friday, January 17th, to arrive at a decision. Should he choose not to sign, he will become a free agent in the summer. His existing contract is set to expire on June 15, 2025. There is a sense of uncertainty regarding whether Dinamo Zagreb will retain this talented right-back, as he might explore opportunities abroad if the contract remains unsigned. The situation is tense, with the possibility that Dinamo Zagreb could lose Mikić, who was anticipated to have a promising future with the club, without receiving any transfer fee.

Noa Mikić will not be going on loan to Istra 1961 or any other club, as confirmed by his manager, Matej Škegro. Instead, Mikić will sign for a club where he will be part of a project and will be competing for a starting position as one of the two full-backs in the spring. Dinamo Zagreb expects Mikić to extend his contract, which ends in June this year, and this is why he was taken to the training camp.

Dinamo Zagreb is discussing the possibility of loaning Noa Mikić to a top-tier club where he can play and adapt to senior football. Istra 1961 is mentioned as a potential destination, but there are inquiries from other clubs, even outside Croatia.

Noa Mikic, a highly regarded talent at Dinamo Zagreb, is facing limited opportunities as his contract expires next summer. Despite being a key prospect for the Croatian national team, he has not played for the senior team this season. It is possible he might seek opportunities elsewhere.
