Sportske Novosti reports on the failed transfer of Čavlina to Lokomotiva and his decision to remain at Dinamo. The possibility of Čavlina returning to Lokomotiva has failed. He will stay at Dinamo to compete for the starting goalkeeper position.

Nikola Čavlina, who had been on loan at Osijek, is in need of finding a club where he can play, as it would be unreasonable for him to stay on the bench at Dinamo. The HNS rules state that players can be registered for up to three clubs during a competitive year and can participate in official matches for only two. Čavlina was registered with Lokomotiva until July 2, 2024, with Dinamo from July 3, and with Osijek from July 4. As a result, he is eligible to play for these three clubs. There is a possibility for Dinamo to loan him to Lokomotiva, as they currently have two players, Luka Vrbančić and Moreno Živković, on loan there, with one more spot available.
