Niko Jankovic Transfer from Rijeka to LOSC Lille

Rijeka's president, Damir Mišković, allegedly rejected an offer from French club Lille for Janković worth four million euros because he would have to give half of it to Dinamo.

Lille made a last-minute offer of four million euros for Niko Janković. However, Rijeka declined the offer due to a clause that half of the transfer fee would go to Dinamo, making two million euros insufficient for such a player.

Lille made a four million euro offer for Niko Janković, but it was turned down by the director of Rijeka, Damir Mišković, who cited the significant gap it would create in the team. Furthermore, because Janković emerged from Dinamo's academy, the current Croatian champion would be entitled to half of the transfer fee. This arrangement would leave Rijeka with just two million euros, an amount deemed insufficient given the player's importance.

French club Lille wanted to acquire Rijeka's young midfielder Niko Janković for around four million euros. However, Rijeka's owner, Damir Mišković, declined the offer, stating that Janković could not be bought for that amount at this time. Despite Rijeka's financial needs, Mišković decided losing Janković would be too much for the team, especially since Dinamo still has a 50% right to any transfer fee. Janković did not insist on leaving and is focused on upcoming important matches for Rijeka.
