Spezia is negotiating a contract extension for Nicolò Bertola, a defender born in 2003, who has had an excellent start to the season with two goals in five league games. The player’s agents, Tinti and Montipò, are delaying the meeting date but have expressed openness to an agreement with Stefano Melissano, the club's sporting director. The proposed contract includes a salary increase to over 220,000 euros (up from 126,000 euros) until 2028, with a release clause of 4.5 million euros if a top club shows interest. Despite initial hesitation, there was optimism, but the final decision has been postponed to the end of the month.

Spezia is negotiating a contract extension with Bertola. The club believes in the player and wants to give him the opportunity to play in Serie A. An important offer has been made to him and his agent. The negotiations have been ongoing since July 27.
