Nicolò Bertola Transfer from Spezia to Venezia
A previous agreement for Nicolò Bertola's transfer to Venezia was nearly finalized by former director Eduardo Macia, involving a fee of 1.2 million EUR plus the inclusion of goalkeeper Bruno Bertinato. However, this transfer did not materialize. Spezia is now focused on extending Bertola's contract.
Nicolò Bertola is currently negotiating a contract extension with Spezia, as his contract expires on June 30. However, there is interest from multiple Serie A clubs including Venezia.
During the last summer, Venezia offered 1.2 million euros plus the Brazilian goalkeeper Oliveira for Nicolò Bertola. However, the transfer did not go through.
Nicolò Bertola, a defender for Spezia, has become a focal point as his contract is set to expire next June. Spezia has reportedly offered him a four-year contract, which includes a substantial salary increase and a release clause ranging from 4 to 5 million euros should a Serie A club express interest. Although Spezia remains optimistic about keeping him, Venezia is reportedly showing strong interest in acquiring Bertola. A meeting is planned to coincide with the next Serie B break to further discuss the situation, with the possibility of a January transfer being considered if no agreement is reached.
