Nicolò Bertola, who plays as a central defender for Spezia, is reportedly attracting interest from several Serie A clubs, with Bologna among them. Spezia is making efforts to secure his contract, which is due to expire next summer, in order to prevent losing him without compensation. The club is said to be negotiating to lower the release clause, which was initially set at 4.5 million EUR, and to enhance his salary offer to 300,000 EUR plus bonuses, an increase from the current 130,000 EUR. Despite the interest from other clubs, Spezia reportedly intends to retain Bertola until June 2025.

Nicolò Bertola is currently negotiating a contract extension with Spezia, as his contract expires on June 30. However, there is interest from multiple Serie A clubs including Bologna. This interest is confirmed by the presence of Bologna's sporting director Marco Di Vaio at the Spezia-Reggiana match.
