Nicolò Barella Transfer from Inter to Al Hilal
Nicolò Barella received an offer from Al Hilal worth 140 million Euros for four seasons, equating to an annual salary of 35 million Euros. Despite the lucrative offer, Barella, a lifelong Inter fan, decided to stay with Inter Mailand. He recently extended his contract with the club until 2029.
Al-Hilal presented an offer of 35 million EUR per year for four years to Nicolò Barella. However, Barella rejected the offer, expressing his clear desire to stay at Inter Milan. He signed a contract extension in 2024 with Inter, earning 6.5 million EUR per season until 2029, making him the highest-paid Italian in Serie A.
Al Hilal unexpectedly approached Nicolò Barella while Inter was in Riyadh for the Italian Super Cup. La Gazzetta dello Sport reported that Barella was offered a salary of 18 million euros per season, nearly three times his current earnings. Despite this lucrative offer, Barella was reportedly not persuaded to alter his career path and lifestyle. Although the January attempt did not succeed, Al Hilal is expected to make another offer in six months, this time with an even larger sum. Barella is said to be resolute in his decision to remain at Inter, where he continues to enjoy a successful career.
