Nicholas Gioacchini Transfer from Como to Asteras Tripolis

Nicholas Gioacchini has left Como and transferred to Asteras Tripolis. He joined Como a year ago but made only nine appearances, all in the last season. After an unsuccessful loan spell at Cincinnati, he has now moved to Asteras, who are currently fifth in the Super League. Nicholas Gioacchini was born on July 25, 2000, in Kansas City, USA, and has Italian and Jamaican roots. He plays as a forward and has represented the American national team eight times, scoring three goals, and was part of the team that won the GOLD CUP in 2021. He also won the Western Conference with St. Louis City in 2023 and helped Como achieve promotion from Serie B to Serie A in 2024. Nicholas Gioacchini has chosen the number 9 jersey and requested that his name, NIKO, be written in Greek. He expressed his excitement about coming to Greece and joining Asteras, stating his eagerness to prove his qualities through hard work and dedication, and he thanked the club for the opportunity and trust placed in him.
