Nené leaving Jagiellonia Białystok?

Jagiellonia Białystok has confirmed Nené's transfer to Yunnan Yukun F.C, a club competing in the Chinese Super League. The transfer fee was around 400,000 euros. Nené, the Portuguese midfielder, had been contemplating a move for a while and did not plan to renew his contract with Jagiellonia Białystok. The transfer was essential for Jagiellonia as it represented their final opportunity to profit from the 29-year-old's player card. Nené appeared in 96 matches for Jagiellonia, scoring 20 goals and contributing 15 assists, and was instrumental in their championship season, recording nine goals and eight assists in 33 matches. His new club has recently been promoted to the Chinese top league.

Nene, who performed poorly in the recent season compared to his previous form, has decided not to extend his contract with Jagiellonia Białystok, opting instead to transfer to Yunnan Yukan in the Chinese Super League, where he will earn significantly more. Jagiellonia is expected to receive approximately 400,000 EUR for the transfer.

Nené, a key player for Jagiellonia Białystok, is nearing a move to China. Although the club initially wanted to extend his contract, which expires in June, negotiations were unsuccessful. Two Chinese clubs, Dalian Yingbo and Yunnan Yukun, have expressed interest in acquiring him. Jagiellonia decided to sell him to avoid losing him for free in six months, as he indicated he would not renew his contract. The club's sporting director, Łukasz Masłowski, confirmed during the program 'Moc Futbolu' that the transfer is imminent.

Nené is pushing for a transfer to a newly promoted club in the Chinese Super League. His contract with Jagiellonia Białystok expires in June, and he prefers a winter move to avoid leaving for free in the summer. The club is open to a transfer if the Chinese club offers around half a million euros. This would be Nené's first move outside Europe, having previously played in Portugal for clubs like Santa Clara and Braga.

Jagiellonia Białystok is not currently entertaining offers for Nené. However, Piotr Koźmiński indicated that if the interested Chinese clubs wish to acquire him, they would need to return with a new and improved offer. Nené's contract, which is set to expire on June 30, 2025, will not be extended, making January the ideal time to secure any earnings from his transfer. Jagiellonia Białystok has already received an initial proposal from China, but it was deemed unsatisfactory and subsequently rejected. Nené, who previously played for Braga and Santa Clara, has made 26 appearances this season, scoring four goals and providing three assists.

Nené may soon leave Jagiellonia Białystok, with reports suggesting contract extension talks have failed. His contract runs until June 2025, but a Chinese club has reportedly made an offer. The club might sell him in the winter to avoid a free transfer next summer. Ongoing talks could be a strategic move by his agents, with interest from the Far East.

Jagiellonia Białystok has not reached an agreement on a new contract with Nené, therefore he may be sold according to Piotr Koźmiński. The potential transfer direction is towards Asia, specifically with interest from a Chinese team. The details are not known at this time.
