Nemanja Mijušković Transfer from Miedź Legnica to Wisła Płock

Wisła Płock announced their initial winter transfer for the 2024/2025 season by acquiring Nemanja Mijušković from Miedź Legnica. The 32-year-old defender joined Wisła Płock as a free agent following the termination of his contract with Miedź Legnica. He signed a contract valid until June 30, 2026, with an option to extend it for an additional 12 months. Mijušković stated that Wisła Płock had been the most concrete option from the moment he became a free agent, and he was drawn to the team's quality and ambitions to achieve top goals in the I liga.

Wisła Płock is actively pursuing the acquisition of a new central defender. Nemanja Mijusković, who has recently ended his contract with Miedź Legnica, is anticipated to join the team under the guidance of coach Mariusz Misiura. This development was disclosed by Szymon Janczyk from Weszlo.com. Mijusković, associated with Miedź Legnica since 2019, has participated in 28 matches in the Ekstraklasa, contributing two goals and one assist. Now a free agent, he has drawn interest from Bruk-Bet Termalika Nieciecza and Odra Opole, though he reportedly prefers the offer from Wisła Płock. The 32-year-old Montenegrin international boasts significant experience in Poland's first league, with 121 appearances, 19 goals, and five assists, and is expected to add valuable experience to Wisła's efforts to return to the Ekstraklasa.
