Naçi Ünüvar, the 21-year-old attacking midfielder from Ajax, has officially joined Espanyol on loan with an option to buy if he plays 25 matches and Espanyol remains in the Primera División. Although born in the Netherlands, Ünüvar is of Turkish descent and decided to represent Turkey at the international level in 2023. Ünüvar, who played last season at Twentee and has experience in the Turkish league with Trabzonspor, is the eighth reinforcement for Espanyol's coach Manolo González.
